We are looking for a creative, motivated and detail-oriented Junior CAD/CAM Designer to support our design and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will assist in creating and modifying 2D and 3D models, preparing technical drawings, and generating CAM programs for CNC machining. What the job requires

Responsabilities


  • Create and update 2D/3D CAD models and technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360 and especially Rhino.
  • Assist in developing CAM programs for CNC machines using software like RhinoCAM.
  • Collaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet specifications.
  • Support prototyping and production processes by preparing accurate documentation and toolpaths.
  • Maintain organized records of design files, revisions, and project documentation.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Design products within the rules of specific sports, with creative thinking key to differentiate our skills.
Mandatory skills 


  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in CAD/CAM design (internships included).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Rhino).
  • Basic knowledge of CAM software and CNC machining principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and source information.
Nice to have skills


  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as milling, turning, and 3D printing.
  • Running FEAs in open-source software
  • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Experience with PLM or PDM systems.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Grasshopper parametric designing.
