Job description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Quality Officer (CQO) to lead our organization’s quality strategy and ensure the highest standards of product, process, and service excellence. The CQO will oversee quality assurance, quality control, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across all departments, as well as coordinate with third parties. This role is critical in fostering a culture of quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilities
- Develop and implement a company-wide quality strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead and manage theQuality Control (QC), and Compliance teams.
- Establish and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen together with the OPEX team.
- Oversee internal and external audits and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer service to ensure quality integration across all functions.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
- Report quality performance and risks to the executive leadership team and board of directors.
Mandatory skills
- 10+ years of progressive experience in quality leadership roles, including at least 5 years in a senior or executive position.
- Deep knowledge of quality systems, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record in leading quality transformations and achieving operational excellence.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and global operations is a plus.
Nice to have skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Certification
