Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Controller to lead and oversee quality control processes across our production operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that products meet internal and external quality standards, mentor junior staff, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role is critical in maintaining product integrity, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

What the job requires

Responsabilities
- Supervise and perform inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for quality issues.
- Train and mentor junior quality controllers and production staff on quality standards.
- Maintain and analyze quality records, inspection reports, and non-conformance data.
- Collaborate with production, OPEX, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO and industry-specific standards.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Mandatory skills
- 5+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, GMP).
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and measurement equipment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Nice to have skills
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS).
- Familiarity with ERP or MES systems.
